We always recommend travelling by public transport in and around London due to the roads becoming very busy during rush hour which often coincides with the time you would make your way to the theatre. The most efficient way to travel in the capital is by the world’s oldest metro system, the London Underground. London's West End is a relatively small area, is well signposted and most theatres are within a short walking distance of each other.
Although much quicker than travelling on the roads, the Underground does also get busier around rush hour so please allow plenty of time to get to the theatre for your show, especially if you are due to collect tickets from the box office. We recommend checking out the official Transport for London website for any obstructions/delays that might cause your journey to be a little longer than anticipated.
If the Underground isn’t a suitable means of transport for you, you can of course always hop on a bus or hail a taxi to take you to the theatre’s doorstep! If you are planning to travel by bus or car, please be extra conscious of your journey time as it’s highly likely to be busy on the roads.
